The Bed & Breakfast Villa Flora is situated in the residential area of the seaside resort of Marina di Pietrasanta, along the coast of Versilia. In a few minutes, our guests can reach the beach and the commercial area of the town which offers several  opportunities for shopping, fine restaurants, typical trattorias, as well as pubs and wine bars  for the evening entertainments and  very nice discoes as "Capannina di Franceschi" and the "Twiga" !! 

The wide beach of Marina di Pietrasanta covers nearly five km lenght and in some spots can reach 200 m widht...it means that even in the high season, everyone has a wide beach space to enjoy; the clear water of the sea, the bottom which slopes gently, makes the Marina di Pietrasanta beach the ideal place for families and for the inexperienced swimmers.

 Marina di Pietrasanta is just few kilometers far from the old town centre of  Pietrasanta, well known all over the world for the artistic working of marble and bronze. This great tradition of craftmanship has been kept alive  in laboratories andworkshop, in factories specialized in the field of artistic mosaic  and in the several artistic foundries. This has inspired different italian and foregn artists, living and working in Pietrasanta, as well as Botero, Kan Jasuda, Mitoraj and many others whose statues and have been installed everywhere in town and its sorroundings. In summertime, the wide Cathedral Square of Pietrasanta and the streets of the old town centre host exhibitions of sculptures and painting, creating a romantic and surreal atmosphere.

The "Teatro della Versiliana", the outdoor theatre opens in Juli and August hosting performances of great appeal in a perfect balance between drama, dance, cabaret and music. Every summer the great names of the italian music attract here thousands of fans at their concerts. In the afternoon, the talk show named "Caffé della Versiliana" hosts every day celebrities in journalism, politic, art, culture, science etc. with different themes and discussions.

More than over, there are so many advisable excursions by car, train, on foot or by bus with organized tours. Pietrasanta is located in a strategical position, not far from the main tuscan artistic towns and cities, as Lucca, Pisa, Firenze, Siena, the Cinque Terre and Carrara with its marble caves. 

Thanks to its harmonious and diversified landscape, the Mediterranean sea, the massive Apuan Alps, the lake of Massaciuccoli (San Rossore, Migliarino, Massaciuccoli Park) and the beautiful hills, Versilia offers to sporting people several opportunities to practize every kind of sport activities.
